We’ve been growing grapes and making wine since 1999 in North Zealand near Lake Arresø. We have a small farm shop and offer wine events for groups or via Smartbox and Truestory. Over the years, we’ve won several awards.

Domain Aalsgaard was the first vineyard in Denmark to receive official permission to sell its wine. The Højbjerg vineyard by Falkenbergvej lies on south-facing slopes in beautiful, idyllic surroundings. Vines were first planted here back in 1998, and there are around 2,000 vines in total across five grape varieties. Work in the vineyard is only lightly mechanised. Pruning, canopy work and the grape harvest are all done by hand. Only healthy, ripe grapes can produce quality wine. The winery is located at Ålsgårde Stationsvej 13. Only dry or semi-dry white wines are produced, and the grape varieties are usually not blended.

We grow only red grapes – without pesticides – for flavourful, full-bodied red wines with low acidity. Hand-sorted grapes, unfiltered wines with low sulphite content, aged 3–5 years. Our limited production is available at selected restaurants, at wine tastings, and in our shop/webshop.

Dyrehøj is Denmark’s largest vineyard, beautifully located on sunny Røsnæs near Kalundborg. Here, the fresh sea breeze from Kalundborg Fjord meets the dry, sandy, mineral-rich soil, creating a terroir made for producing Danish wines of international class. Since 2008, Dyrehøj has been producing Danish wine, and today the vineyard produces around 50,000 bottles a year. In 2022, Dyrehøj won the Havfrue Prize from Danish travel journalists for contributing something truly special to tourism in Denmark. The journalists said, “There’s a real vineyard atmosphere here.” The quality at Dyrehøj is high, and the wines have won both gold and silver medals at recognised international competitions.

Grown in community. Harvested with joy. Enjoyed since 2000 Frederiksborg Vin a.m.b.a. is one of Denmark's oldest commercial vineyards and a vibrant cooperative west of Hillerød. Here, around 130 volunteer winegrowers grow wine together. Here the winegrowers meet in the field, work side by side in the rows of vines and share the joy of growing wine together. As a guest, you can experience the vineyard, hear the history of Danish wine production and taste the wines from your own field in tranquil surroundings in the North Zealand countryside.

If you are looking for local organically produced wine, Frørup Vingård is for you. The vineyard is cultivated with great love for nature and for the wine, and not least for each other. Organic, delicious and tasty wines are sold from the farm shop. In the farm shop, you can also buy all the equipment you need to establish your own vineyard and winery. Come and have a chat and get inspired to become a winegrower and make your own wine. Hjertebjerg Vineyard is located in the village of Hjertebjerg, between Stege and Møns Klint. The vineyard has 1,500 vines, established in 2000. In 2020, Uffe Winter Nielsen became a commercial grower. Møn’s location in the Baltic Sea provides exceptionally good growing conditions for viticulture. The Baltic Sea retains the “warmth”, so night frost isn’t a problem in early spring when the buds break. The vines have reached an age where they are robust and well suited to producing full-bodied, aromatic grapes. There are several grape varieties in the vineyard: Rondo, Regent, Frühburgunder, Mertzling, Salas Perle and Orion.

We’re a small vineyard located southeast of Randers. We have 700 grapevines grown organically. We started in 2007 and have since built a winery where production takes place. The wine is judged at wine shows and is sold partly at our home and partly through an organic farm shop. We have 2 newly furnished rooms, each with its own bathroom. The toilets have a bidet function. There are dormer windows in both the rooms and the bathrooms, with a great view of, among other things, the vineyard. You can make coffee/tea in the room. Breakfast can be ordered and is served in the living room.

Holmegaard Wine and Glamping is a small, perhaps Denmark’s smallest, family-run vineyard where a passion for wine and nature goes hand in hand. The vines were planted in 2010, but it wasn’t until 2023 that we took a big step forward, when we set up our own winery and began producing wine on site. We produce around 300 litres of rosé and 100 litres of white wine. That same year, we also opened for glamping, so guests can get up close to life at the vineyard, follow the work in the fields, and enjoy the peace and nature around us in luxury cotton tents. Kelleris Vingaard is located in North Zealand close to the Øresund coast and the Louisiana Museum in the beautiful protected area Kelleris-kilen. The winery was established in 2001 and is owned by Susanne and Søren Hartvig Jensen, who are some of the pioneers in Danish wine breeding. An area of 1.3 hectares has been planted with approximately 4200 vines, mainly with the Rondo and Solaris varieties. The winery has its own underground winery where all winemaking processes take place. It is with passion and focus on quality and traditional craftsmanship that the winery's UTOPIA wines are made. Kelleris Winery produces white wine, sparkling wine, red wine and liqueur wine. It is possible to visit Kelleris Vingaard by prior arrangement. Langelinie vin - a range of quality wines. The vineyard is located between Frederikssund and Hillerød. A small vineyard with 2500 vines of Solaris, Souvignier Gris and Cabernet Cantor. Visit Østergaard Winery Østergaard Winery produces handcrafted specialty wines made from both grapes and fruit. The grape wines are made from grapes grown in our own vineyards, where we mainly cultivate varieties suited to elegant white and rosé wines. In selected years, we also make an intense red wine from dried grapes. The winery also produces fruit ice wines from apples and pears—concentrated wines that pair perfectly with desserts and cheeses. Close to Præstø and Præstø Fjord lies Præstø Vineyard, where sustainable Danish wine is produced—red, white and rosé. The vines are grown with a focus on quality, where nature, the soil and the location give the wines a distinctive character. There are 4 ha of land planted with 13,000 vines, divided into: Red varieties: Cantor, Rondo, Bolero, Cabernet Cortis, Reberger and Cbanet Noir. White varieties: Solaris, Muskaris, Phønix, plus a little Orion and Clardis Blanc. Annual production is 10,000 bottles of wine. There is a shop selling our wines. Tours, wine tasting and tapas (by order), min. 4 people, max 70.

Small vineyard between Kattinge and Kornerup near Roskilde. A total of 1680 vines that are grown organically. Half are Solaris and the other grapes are Sauvignier Gris, Muscaris, Riesel, Johanitter and some red grapes Bolero, Cabernet Cantor and Rondo. The land is cultivated organically.

The syndicate is currently run by 12 local men in their prime. 1 hectare planted with approx. 2,800 vines. 10 different varieties in varying quantities. From early May to late September, the vineyard is open every Saturday from 10:30 to 13:00 for tastings and wine sales. On Thursdays from July to September, it’s open from 16:00 to 18:00. Group tours can be booked.

Saxtrup Vingaard is located near Bjergby north of Hjørring and is Denmark's northernmost commercial vineyard. The southwest-facing vineyards, salty sea breezes and many hours of sunshine create good conditions for the production of sparkling wines in particular. The vineyard is cultivated 100% organically with hand labor in the field and a focus on sustainability. Varieties such as Solaris, Riesel, Hibernal, Johanniter, Muscaris, Souvignier Gris and Castel are used. The result is elegant sparkling wines and fresh white wines with a distinctly Nordic touch. Visits and tastings are arranged by appointment.

Sønderstrand Vin is an organic, family-run vineyard established in 2021. Our wines are made with minimal intervention – spontaneously fermented, bottled unfiltered, and with minimal or no added sulphites. We have 5,600 vines across 2 hectares and grow the PIWI varieties Solaris, Souvignier Gris, Johanniter, Hibernal and Muscaris. The varieties are carefully selected because they can be grown with minimal need for spraying, supporting a more sustainable practice in the vineyard. Our ambition is to bring out the grapes’ full potential and help establish a new sustainable wine tradition that can match the traditional wine world in terms of quality. We offer guided tours and tastings at the vineyard by appointment.

Karen and Carl run STUB Vingaard on Røsnæs by Kalundborg Fjord. On the highest hilltop towers the more than 100-year-old water tower, which has been converted into a wine bar and shop where guests can buy STUB wine and enjoy it in the terrain along with the beautiful view. You can also buy wine tastings, guided tours, tapas lunches, etc. STUB Vingaard has approx. 5,500 vines on approx. 2 hectares and the fields are cultivated as naturally as possible.

Welcome to Svennesmølle Vingård Visit Svennesmølle Vingård in Sydals and experience our focus on presence, quality and sustainability. Enjoy a unique view of Ærø and Funen. The vineyard slopes down towards Lillebælt. Spring flowers in between the rows of vines create an idyllic atmosphere. We harvest for the first time in 2026 and expect the first bottles ready for sale in the summer of 2027. At that time it will be possible to try a wine tasting in our showroom. This award-winning mead is brewed in North Funen, where we age the golden drink ourselves until it’s ready.

Vrangbækgaard is a small vineyard on a south-facing slope close to the coast near Lundeborg on Funen. Here, organic grapes are grown to produce the highest possible wine quality in Danish latitudes - using only natural methods and robust grape varieties that can ripen in Denmark and are grown with minimal use of gentle pesticides. The winery is working - in collaboration with German plant breeders - to develop next generation grape varieties for the Scandinavian climate. Gotland fur sheep are bred on the farm, so you can buy both organic lamb and wine in the farm shop. The winery is open for visits by appointment.
