Visit Østergaard Winery
Østergaard Winery produces handcrafted specialty wines made from both grapes and fruit. The grape wines are made from grapes grown in our own vineyards, where we mainly cultivate varieties suited to elegant white and rosé wines. In selected years, we also make an intense red wine from dried grapes. The winery also produces fruit ice wines from apples and pears—concentrated wines that pair perfectly with desserts and cheeses. Visit our cosy farm shop or book a guided tour of the vineyard and winery, followed by a wine tasting.
Hjertebjerg Vingård
Hjertebjerg Vineyard is located in the village of Hjertebjerg, between Stege and Møns Klint.
The vineyard has 1,500 vines, established in 2000. In 2020, Uffe Winter Nielsen became a commercial grower.
Møn’s location in the Baltic Sea provides exceptionally good growing conditions for viticulture. The Baltic Sea retains the “warmth”, so night frost isn’t a problem in early spring when the buds break.
The vines have reached an age where they are robust and well suited to producing full-bodied, aromatic grapes.
There are several grape varieties in the vineyard: Rondo, Regent, Frühburgunder, Mertzling, Salas Perle and Orion.
Hideaway Vingård, Fejø
The keywords are organic and regenerative farming, hands-on work, and a passion for flavour. The wines reflect the unique soil and the almost Mediterranean climate on Fejø. Hideaway is aiming for the stars and supplies Michelin restaurants and niche wine merchants. Whether you visit the restaurant and enjoy a lovely lunch, join a guided tour of the vineyard, biodiversity garden and winery with tastings along the way, or settle in for a night in one of our lovely vineyard cabins, you—the guest—are at the heart of it all!
