Lyngby Winery

Lyngby Winery

In the middle of the North Jutland Ice Age landscape between Aalborg and Hadsund lies Lyngby Winery – one of Denmark’s smallest commercial wineries and one of the northernmost in Scandinavia. Here, at the 56th parallel, we grow wine on the edge of nature, where the climate challenges but also gives the wines their special Nordic character.

In the vineyard there are around 1,200 vines where the grapes form the foundation of our Cold Climate wines. The cool Nordic conditions give the wines freshness and elegance – a character that increasingly characterizes Danish wine production. The range includes sparkling wines, white wines, red wines and selected liqueurs made from local berries and fruits – a tribute to the North Jutland landscape and the ingredients that grow around us.

Since our establishment in 2020, our wines have received 14 medals and special awards at Danish wine fairs, and in 2023 the winery was named Danish Winery of the Year in fruit wines. We are proud of the awards – but for us, wine is at least as much about experiences as it is about medals.

When you visit our charming vineyard, you don’t just get a glass of wine in your hand. You’ll also get the story of Danish viticulture, insight into the work in the vineyard – and a taste of the landscape in which the wines are created.

Lyngby Winery is much more than a winery – we are part of the new Danish gastrotourism, where nature, local produce and passionate craftsmanship meet in the glass.
