The vines are grown at the organic Hesselbjerggaard, located in scenic surroundings, close to Svogerslev Lake, Skjoldungestien and the associated ferry. Follow the approximately 800 meter long gravel path from Buesøvej 12 and you’ll see the vineyard on your right just before the main house. The field was planted in the fall of 2024/spring of 2025 and the first harvest is expected in the fall of 2026. The total of 56 rows of vines (2*28 rows) are well-groomed and appear beautiful in nature. In between every other row is planted red clover/blood clover while other growth of weeds/dandelions etc. is kept down in the good old-fashioned way with hoeing and hand power.
